2005 marks the fifth anniversary of the Parliament Choir and BT has been our supporter and sponsor since the beginning. That we have been able to achieve so much in those five years has been due to their encouragement and generous support. Both BT and the Choir share a strong common interest: encouraging and enhancing the skills of young people. BT do this through their initiatives to improve communication skills, the Parliament Choir does it by working regularly with young musicians. BT’s sponsorship of our concerts has enabled the Choir to engage many young singers as soloists and to have as its regular orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, a group of exceptional young instrumentalists.

In his forward for the Choir’s most recent programme, John Anderson, Director of BT Government, said: “The Parliament Choir’s work in promoting young musicians has brought together a shared interest and a very happy partnership with BT.”
